Miguel Espada Born in the halls of Universidad Complutense of Madrid in 2008, the Espadaysantacruz studio is the creation of Miguel Espada, Juan Santa-Cruz, and Nerea Goikoetxea. They are a band of professionals with different backgrounds in the field of creative programming, visual arts, production design, filmmaking, and cultural curation. Espada specializes in innovation projects that challenge brands and people, ranging from product design, experience design, interactive installations, to new media arts.
They believe that exploration and prototyping is the best way to learn from failure and use technology in a creative way. They work with brands like Samsung, Ford, Mckinsey, Zara, Adidas, Pepe Jeans, Carolina Herrera, Shiseido, Universal Robots, and Playstation. Espada has been recognized by awards and festivals like the Cannes Lions, CLIOs, the London International Awards, El Sol, Premios Club de Creativos, El Ojo, FIAP, LAUS, and FWA.
